Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using DesignDesk ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

DesignDesk is a web-based project management platform for interior designers. We provide tools for procurement tracking, scheduling, invoicing, mood boards, floor plans, and client management.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
One person or entity per account (no shared accounts)

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Free trials do not require a credit card
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable
You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Your Data

You own all content you create in DesignDesk
We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data
You can export your data at any time
We back up your data regularly but recommend you maintain your own backups

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the Service
Share your account credentials with others
Upload malicious files or code
Exceed fair usage limits (automated scraping, etc.)

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DesignDesk's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
